The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Selects OnBase by Hyland

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is harnessing the power of OnBase by Hyland, a single enterprise information platform, to manage content, processes and cases across the institution — starting with transforming its transcript processes and moving to comprehensive digital student records campus wide in a second phase.

'Our goal is to continuously improve our students' experiences with every department,' said Joel Reeves, assistant vice chancellor and chief information officer at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. 'We are working with OnBase to give the various offices timely, consistent and secure access to the necessary student information to achieve this goal.'

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is migrating from simple document management software to a scalable platform with the implementation of OnBase, which will enable the university to streamline its processes. In tandem, OnBase will seamlessly integrate with the university's essential applications, such as Banner® by Ellucian and TES® the Transfer Evaluation System from CollegeSource, Inc.

'We are excited to welcome the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, to our customer base as they move from using Nolij Web to embracing the unlimited potential of OnBase,' said Laurel Stiller, global portfolio manager, higher education at Hyland. 'The implementation of OnBase supports industry trends for a flexible enterprise solution to create complete digital student files.'
