OnBase by Hyland Selected to Support Growing Campbellsville University

Campbellsville University selected OnBase by Hyland, a single enterprise information platform, to replace its current content management system. OnBase integration tools will be deployed to tightly integrate with Jenzabar EX, the campus enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and Microsoft Outlook.

Located in Campbellsville, Kentucky, the private institution with more than a century of academic experience is looking to continue their trend of growing enrollment in the next few years. With that growth, there will be a significant uptick in applications for Campbellsville University's award-winning degree programs as well as associated student materials such as transcripts and financial aid documents.

'We selected OnBase because it could easily integrate with any ERP and stand on its own as a business tool, essentially affording us the ability to bring any system to the table,' said Eric Smith, director of IT at Campbellsville University. 'OnBase will bring consistency to our campus processes and sustain us as we continue to expand as well as provide the needed support.'

The initial OnBase rollout will occur in Admissions where there are currently four unique groups serving undergraduate and graduate programs on the main campus, regional campuses and online degree programs — each with their own set of nuances and needs. Applications and student records will be converted over from ImageNow, and the IT team will leverage OnBase to standardize processes to elevate departmental efficiencies. Considerations for future OnBase implementations include the business office and human resources.

'With Campbellsville on the precipice of anticipated substantial growth over the next few years, we are happy to support their needs now and in the future through the scalability of OnBase,' said Dave Vegh, director, higher education practice at Hyland. 'Additionally, OnBase is a single solution for faculty and staff to securely access, process and share relevant information across multiple campus locations, both increasing efficiency and freeing up more time to devote to serving its diverse student population.'
