Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare Company Selects OnBase by Hyland
Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare Company will simultaneously deploy Epic, an industry leading electronic medical record (EMR), and OnBase by Hyland, a single enterprise information platform, to support complete electronic health records and improve patient care. Epic and OnBase integrate to ensure all clinical content is available within EMRs, helping clinicians make faster and better informed care decisions.
As much as 65 percent of the patient record is unstructured data and resides in systems like OnBase, outside of the EMR. Integrating with Epic, both discrete and unstructured data now become easily accessible. Additionally, clinicians are presented with relevant patient content from within a single point of access, which enables better patient care with increased efficiency.
"Hyland and Epic's practice teams are closely aligned, which helps us provide the highest level of medical record expertise," said Susan deCathelineau, vice president, global healthcare sales and solutions at Hyland. "With decades of experience helping healthcare organizations create one patient record across clinical, administrative and billing departments, no other content management solution offers the breadth and depth of integration capabilities.'
Uniting information from core HIT applications throughout the healthcare organization enables clinicians and staff to access the information they need at the moment they need it, where they need it. To learn why more than 1,800 healthcare organizations use OnBase, visit OnBase.com/Healthcare.
