Hyland Offers Staff Augmentation Services to Healthcare Customers

Healthcare organizations with IT projects leveraging OnBase by Hyland, a single enterprise information platform, can now further tap into Hyland's expertise and support. Hyland is offering system administration and staff augmentation resources that include migrating databases from test to production, assisting with disaster recovery plan testing and supporting help desk tickets.

Various scenarios may arise in which resources are needed, such as in-flux staffing, department cost reductions and aggressive project timelines. By adding new skill sets to an existing IT team, an organization may effectively utilize both internal and external resources for project completion.

'We have seen an increased demand from our customers to offer an expanded palette of service offerings for OnBase projects that includes providing support with deep knowledge of the product,' said Susan deCathelineau, vice president, global healthcare sales and services at Hyland. 'Our staff augmentation capabilities are central to filling in critical gaps and ensuring successful rollouts that, in turn, lead to a connected healthcare enterprise and premier patient care.'

The staff augmentation services offered by Hyland put in place temporary staff who are adept at immediately applying expertise around automating business workflows and integrations with more than 500 applications, including Epic, TriZetto, Meditech, Cerner, Allscripts, McKesson, Lawson, PeopleSoft and more.

'We are a big organization, and our team is understaffed but Hyland jumped right in to learn our workflows and processes, and even gave pointers and tips as to how we can make things easier,' said Michelle Amador, senior software developer at Greenville Health System. 'We really needed the extra help and see that we will be able to breathe again soon.'

Uniting information from core applications throughout healthcare organizations enables clinicians and staff to access the information they need at the moment they need it.
