Hyland Chief Technology Officer, Miguel Zubizarreta, Announces Retirement

Hyland, creator of OnBase, today announced that Miguel Zubizarreta, its chief technology officer, will retire July 29, 2016. Zubizarreta will continue to serve on Hyland's Board of Directors and as a strategic advisor to the company.

"I am fortunate to have worked side by side with Miguel for nearly 20 years, and am deeply grateful for everything he has done for our company and the entire OnBase Community," said Bill Priemer, president and CEO of Hyland.

Upon Zubizarreta's departure, Hyland's product development and support functions will report to Brenda Kirk, who has been promoted to senior vice president of product and strategy. Kirk has served in several executive roles during her 16-year tenure and is ideally suited to guide the continued evolution of the company's products and solutions.

'We are in very good hands going forward with Brenda and the team of technical experts Miguel has empowered to lead,' said Priemer.
