Farmer’s Mutual Group Selects OnBase by Hyland to Streamline Crucial Business Processes
Farmer's Mutual Group (FMG), New Zealand's leading rural insurer, has selected OnBase by Hyland through regional Platinum Partner ECM360, to extend its Guidewire InsuranceSuite™. With its recent transition to Guidewire, FMG identified the need for enterprise content management (ECM) to better manage documents and information throughout the enterprise. FMG selected OnBase through ECM360, because of the close partnership Hyland, creator of OnBase has with Guidewire, seamlessly combining two leading software solutions for end-to-end processing to increase operational efficiency and productivity and deliver exceptional customer service.
With OnBase, FMG will gain full access to the breadth of functionality in ECM, securely capturing and storing all policy related documents electronically and linking them to the associated claims and policy information in Guidewire. Insurance adjusters and other personnel at FMG will gain instant access to all supporting documents and data, directly from Guidewire ClaimCenter, eliminating the extra time needed to search through multiple applications, file shares or paper records and giving adjusters more accurate information.

Activities generated in Guidewire automatically trigger processes in OnBase to start a related workflow assigning tasks and alerts to relevant employees, including automatic generation of acknowledgement letters and requests for additional information, allowing adjusters to focus on higher value tasks.
