Ed McQuiston, Hyland’s EVP and chief commercial officer, was named a recipient of the 2018 Distinguished Marketing and Sales Awards (DMSA) presented by the Sales & Marketing Executives of Cleveland (SME Cleveland). The purpose of the annual award is to honor and acknowledge sales and marketing excellence and provide community recognition for outstanding industry achievements.
With more than 20 years of experience in the information management and advanced capture industries, McQuiston focuses on aligning Hyland’s global sales and marketing programs with vertical-specific initiatives and worldwide trends. This forward-thinking approach to integrate the sales and marketing departments has yielded tremendous results for Hyland, which has seen an accelerated 15 percent compound annual growth rate over the past five years under McQuiston’s leadership.
DMSA selection criteria is based on the demonstration of the highest business, professional and ethical standards, including exemplary leadership and management, innovative strategies and tactics, extraordinary sales results and strong community and professional involvement.
